Hey… a picture of Marlene in her Write Spot. I agree that all writing can be creative. Every time we put pen to paper or finger on keyboard, it requires thought and care. There can be gems in an email or in a Christmas letter. Check out the reviews of the Hutzler 571 Banana Slicer on Amazon (over 5,000) for examples of creative writing attached to a mundane concept. I bought one just so I could leave a review. PS: They make great stocking stuffers.

Brilliant, Kathy. Of course I had to check out the banana slicer reviews and yes, there are over 5,000 reviews. Here’s the intro to a couple:
“For decades I have been trying to come up with an ideal way to slice a banana. “Use a knife!” they say. Well…my parole officer won’t allow me to be around knives. “Shoot it with a gun!” Background check…HELLO!”

“I tried the banana slicer and found it unacceptable. As shown in the picture, the slices is curved from left to right. All of my bananas are bent the other way.”

Looks like creative writing is happening over at banana slicer.Amazon.com
