Rose-colored eyeglasses, to look on the bright side.
Marbles, in a little round box with a see-through lid, so if I ever felt like I was losing my marbles, I would just look into my little box with the see-through lid and see my marbles and be reassured.
A little paper umbrella, the kind that goes in fancy tropical drinks, so I can remember to expect the unexpected.
Worry dolls in a matchbox. These are little dolls made from wooden matchsticks and bits of yarn and cloth. There is a Mayan legend that when people tell their worries to their worry dolls and place the dolls under their pillows at night, the worries will be gone in the morning.
A plastic Mickey Mouse pipe. I would use this as a peace pipe with any natives I may encounter.
A little green net to catch things for food or entertainment.
A spork because everyone should have a spork at all times.

In my survival kit, I would have:
And last, a magic wand, for obvious reasons.
