What we\u2019re looking for is fine writing, fresh perspectives, and maybe a few surprises in the field of supernatural fiction.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Twice each year&nbsp;&#8220;The Ghost Story&#8221;&nbsp;awards $1,500 and publication to the winner of their short story competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two other writers will receive Honorable Mentions that include publication and a $300 cash award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Winning stories and Honorable Mentions will be published on <a href=\"https:\/\/theghoststory.com\/about-the-ghost-story\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/theghoststory.com\/about-the-ghost-story\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;The Ghost Story&#8221;<\/a> website on June 1 and October 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/theghoststory.com\/contest-guidelines-and-winners\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/theghoststory.com\/contest-guidelines-and-winners\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GUIDELINES<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ghost stories are welcome, of course\u2014but your submission may involve any paranormal or supernatural theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What we\u2019re looking for is fine writing, fresh perspectives, and maybe a few surprises in the field of supernatural fiction.
