An opportunity for neuroplasticity? _________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prompt #2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Choose one path to follow<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Path One:<\/strong> Fractured Fairytales: Start with a well-known fairytale and mix it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Give the character another obstacle, or add on to existing obstacle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Embellish the details, be as unrealistic and as crazy as you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Path Two:<\/strong> The main character is the person you just wrote about or someone from your life, (could be you)<a>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Path Three<\/strong>: Main character is a fictional character created by you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whatever path you choose, use these questions to develop character and situation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What does the character want?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What are the obstacles?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you choose to write about person from the first prompt, use \u201cadd-ons\u201d to flesh out the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add-ons: For every sentence you wrote in Prompt #1, add three more sentences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Original sentence; Little Red Riding Hood wants to deliver tasty morsels to Grandmother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add-ons: She carries the muffins in a basket. She made the muffins that morning. She\u2019s worried about Grandma\u2019s health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prompt #3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What does the character need to do to get what they want?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How does character solve problem? Able to form new connections and new neural pathways?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This could be a brainstorming session where any and all solutions are possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can be creative in how character solves problems.
