In 2013 they founded the <a title=\"Saddle Road Press\" href=\"http:\/\/saddleroadpress.com\/43-north-chapbooks.html\" target=\"_blank\">Forty-Three North Chapbook Series<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 named for the latitude of Lake Erie \u2013 to honor their long-time home near Buffalo.<\/p>\n<p>Now that SRP is permanently settled back home in Hawai\u2019i, they are focusing more on writing from and about the Pacific. They are primarily <a title=\"Catalog\" href=\"http:\/\/saddleroadpress.com\/catalog.html\" target=\"_blank\">looking for work<\/a>\u00a0that moves and delights them. They are open to older writers, to non-MFA writers, to performance pieces, to writers whose first language is not English. They are interested in <a title=\"Poetry\" href=\"http:\/\/saddleroadpress.com\/poetry.html\" target=\"_blank\">poetry<\/a>, <a title=\"Literary fiction\" href=\"http:\/\/saddleroadpress.com\/fiction-memoir.html\" target=\"_blank\">literary fiction<\/a>, <a title=\"Memoir\" href=\"http:\/\/saddleroadpress.com\/fiction-memoir.html\" target=\"_blank\">memoir<\/a>\u00a0and essays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shape your writing now, and be ready to submit later this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We read <a title=\"Saddle Road Press submissions\" href=\"http:\/\/saddleroadpress.com\/submissions.html\" target=\"_blank\">submissions<\/a> once each year, between November 15th and January 15th. Please do not submit manuscripts outside of these periods.
