It is our conviction that creative and critical work should be presented in a variegated yet coherent ensemble\u2014as a boulevard, which contains in one place the best a community has to offer.<\/p>\n<p>To get a feel for style, content, quality, and form of the work that Boulevard publishes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boulevardmagazine.org\/subscriptions\" target=\"_blank\">try a sample issue or subscription.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Boulevard <\/em>accepts submissions from October 1 to May 1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prose Guidelines<\/strong> &#8211; up to 8,000 words.<\/p>\n<p><em>Boulevard<\/em> does not accept: science fiction, erotica, westerns, horror, romance, or children&#8217;s stories.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Poetry<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit no more than five poems at a time, up to 200 lines. Light verse not accepted.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Payment<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prose minimum is $100, maximum is $300<\/p>\n<p>Poetry minimum is $25, maximum is $250<\/p>\n<p>There is a $3 fee to submit online.
